Cinnamon Raisin Bread Wkids

Makes: 1 loaf
Prep Time: 1 hour 15 min
Bake Time: 30 min

1/4 cup sugar
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 cup raisins
1 loaf (1 lb) frozen bread dough, thawed
1 Tbsp butter, melted

1. Combine sugar and cinnamon. Mix well and set aside.

2. Knead raisins and bread dough until well incorporated.

3. Roll out the dough on slightly floured surface, gently pulling to stretch it into14" x 7" rectangle. Brush dough with 1 Tbsp melted butter.

4. Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture over the dough and lightly pat it into the surface.

5. Roll up dough, starting with short end. Pinch edge and ends to close. Place seam side down in greased 8x4x5-inch loaf pan. Cover with oiled plastic wrap. Let bread rise in warm spot for about 1 hour, until it doubles in size.

6. Preheat oven to 350°.

7. Remove plastic wrap, place bread on center rack of oven. Bake for about 30-35 minutes until bread is slightly browned. Remove from the pan and cool on a wire rack.
