Durand-Eastman Playground has swings and a sandbox, though no jungle gym or other climbing structure. Families primarily visit the park for the beach at Lake Ontario and the many lovely hiking trails, rather than for the playground itself. Picnicking and bathrooms facilities are available. There is also an arboretum.
