Our team of professionals (physicians, nurse practitioner, nurses, and medical assistants) has as its primary goal the promotion of your child's health and well-being. We consider parents to be our partners, working with us to determine the best approaches for their children. We strive to provide parents with the information they need to be active partners with us in this endeavor.

Jeffrey C. Levinn, M.D., FAAP
Dr. Levinn is a board-certified pediatrician. He graduated from the University of Rochester School of Medicine. He has a teaching appointment there as well, and participates in the teaching of pediatric doctors in training. His outside interests include vegetable gardening and throwing a boomerang.

Pamela J. Stone, M.D., FAAP
Dr. Stone is a board-certified pediatrician. She graduated from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and has a broad range of experience in general pediatrics. She is married, with two children. Her interests include reading, hiking and dancing.

Jaqueline Dennison, N.P.
Ms. Dennison is a certified pediatric nurse practitioner from the University of Rochester School of Nursing. Her experience has focused on school-aged and adolescent care. Her interests include reading, antiques, and sports.

Office Hours

For first visits, please arrive 15 minutes early to complete medical history and other forms.

Our schedule for health maintenance (Well Child) visits is:

3 weeks (home visit optional within 7 mile radius)

4 months
6 months
9 months
12 months
15 months
18 months
24 months
Yearly after the age of 2

For school and sports clearances, we have our own forms and attach them to those of the school. This allows us to process forms much more quickly. We will fill out health forms if your child has had a physical in the previous two years and has had no significant illnesses in the interim. If you need us to send out a form, please include an addressed, stamped envelope.

Illness visits: Please try to call between 8:30 and 10:00 am if possible. Our policy is to see all children on a same-day basis if either we or you feel they are significantly ill.

Telephone calls: If you have an urgent medical problem, we will immediately come to the phone to assist you. For non-urgent questions about your child, we ask that you leave a message. Our trained staff of nurses will call you back. Our standard is to return all morning calls within four hours and all afternoon calls by the end of the afternoon or early evening.

When the office is closed: A pediatrician and/or nurse practitioner are always on call. Later in the evening pediatric nurses are also available by phone to address medical concerns. Please save non-urgent questions for regular hours.

Hospital care: We admit all seriously ill children to Strong Medical Hospital.

Newborns: We see newborns at Strong Memorial, Highland, and Rochester General Hospitals.

Fees/Insurance: We request all fees and co-pays be paid at the time of visit. We accept Blue Choice, Preferred Care, and Via Health and will provide you with the necessary paperwork for submission to other insurers.

Missed appointment fee: Unlike many other pediatric practices, we will not routinely double-book patients. The appointment time for your child will be vacant if you do not show up or if you call only a short time before the appointment. We will charge a $25 fee for missed appointments. No fee will be charged if you notify our office at least 4 working hours before the appointment time.
