Life and Death of the Sun, Walking with Dinosaurs, Mysteries of the Great Lakes, Dolphins, The Falcons of Toronto

1:00pm—“Life and Death of the Sun” (star show). How long can our Sun continue shining as it does now? What will happen when it runs out of fuel? With imagery from NASA probes and the world's observatories, explore these and other solar topics. Length: 60 min. For ages 6 to adult. Admission: $10 adults, $9 seniors, $8 ages 3–18, free for RMSC members.

2:30pm—"Walking with Dinosaurs: Death of a Dynasty" (CineMuse hi-def feature) plus "Mysteries of the Great Lakes" (giant-screen film). Travel back sixty-five million years as the latest generation of realistic computer graphics depicts the dinosaurs’ harsh battles in the volcano-polluted world just before the end of their era (Walking with Dinosaurs). Then journey across Earth’s greatest freshwater ecosystem. Go underwater to discover shipwrecks and Lake Sturgeon, over land to spot rare Woodland Caribou, and into the air to follow Bald Eagles and gaze over Niagara Falls (Mysteries of the Great Lakes). Length: 75 min. For ages 6 and up. Admission: $10 adults, $9 seniors, $8 ages 3–18, free for RMSC members.

4:00pm— "The Falcons of Toronto" (CineMuse hi-def feature) plus "Dolphins" (giant-screen film). Meet Toronto's Peregrine Falcons. These champions of the sky have forsaken the countryside to live in the city, nesting on cliffs of concrete and hunting in canyons of steel and glass. (The Falcons of Toronto). Then experience a rare and close-up view into the world of our favorite ocean animal. Narrated by Pierce Brosnan, music by Sting. (Dolphins). Length: 70 min. For all ages. Admission: $10 adults, $9 seniors, $8 ages 3–18, free for RMSC members.
