An exciting event at The Rochester Brainery instructed by Cara D'Emanuele for K - 12 teachers, including home school, classroom, after school, summer camp and religious education educators! Put a "Spotlight" on current curriculum or develop new units of study with music, movement and historical themes found in classic and contemporary Broadway shows! Be inspired by this hands-on experience led by one of the country's leading arts educators!

Classroom, home school, after school and summer camp educators: join together for a hands-on music, theatre and movement experience during this "Broadway in The Classroom" workshop. Teachers of all grade levels and subject areas discover inspiring and innovative ways to incorporate classic and contemporary Broadway shows into every instructional setting. Use characters, scenes and songs to teach a myriad of themed units from American History, Citizenship, Transportation and Industry to Art, Literature, Fashion and Architecture. Bring character education and the STEM/STEAM-integrated curriculum to life in your own classroom through exciting lesson plans, activities, and learning stations.
