Join us for songs, stories and toys! Every Tuesday at 10:00am, parents are invited to bring babies and toddlers to the Children’s Center of the Central Library of Rochester and Monroe County to enjoy a variety of fun early literacy activities such as singing, rhyming, and playing with toys and other young children. While the children learn to play with each other, parents will have an opportunity to socialize. Sessions will be held on Tuesdays August 9, and 16. Wee Read is intended for children 3 and under and is free and open to the public. All aboard! This week’s Wee Read is all about cars, planes, trains and things that go! We will share stories & songs about transportation, and then children will have a chance to play with toys. There will be a race track to test how fast your car can go. We’ll have plenty of cars here, but feel free to bring your own toy car. For more information, please call the Children’s Center at 428-8150.
