The Story
Tom, a young teacher is nervous about his first day of teaching. He tries to calm his nerves by watching TV when various characters representing facets of his personality emerge from the set and through imagination and song, they help him to gain the confidence he needs to teach subjects like grammar, science, math, and social studies. Academic subjects will never seem boring again when School House Rock Live! Jr. explodes onto the P. Ken Dennis Theatre stage with songs that have been loved for generations!
School House Rock Live! Jr. is based on the Emmy® Award-winning Saturday morning animated educational cartoon series and pop culture phenomenon which aired on ABC-TV from the 1970's -1980's, and offers themes for students in grades pre-K through 8 as well as offer a bit of nostalgia for adults!
