Sword Play Fencing Camp

A one week, 9AM-3 PM camp for children ages 8-12 held at Allendale Columbia School in Brighton. Come explore the heart of the warrior, while learning the fundamentals of foil and sabre fencing. Discover that courage and honor are timeless through the legends and history of old. The code of chivalry and the modern Olympic values of friendship, respect, and excellence will be emphasized. Cooperative games and different themes help kids imagine themselves as knights, pirates, and Jedi. Pittsford science teacher Jean Gefell adds hands-on science projects and crafts to balance out the day.
