A Summer of Unfortunate Events

*The event has already taken place on this date: Fri, 08/10/2018
Dear Reader, If you are a writer (and I am sorry if you are) interested in creating happy endings, then you would be better off taking another class. Here, I am afraid, you will write zero happy endings.

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.

For ages 12-14

Dear Reader,
If you are a writer (and I am sorry if you are) interested in creating happy endings, then you would be better off taking another class. Here, I am afraid, you will write zero happy endings. If you enjoy imagining such activities as camping on dangerous cliffs and swimming in leech-infested lakes, if you enjoy the sound of crying puppies and the taste of wormwood tea, please join me in following Lemony Snicket’s shadowy footsteps as we embark on a bleak and woeful journey. Using Snicket’s investigative and literary skills, we will pen further tales of the Baudelaire children as they search for their parents in this wide, devastating and unfortunate world.* At the end of the week, dear reader, we may find ourselves with a lamentable anthology of stories that will keep any man, woman, or parrot up all night, weeping uncontrollably.
I hope not to see you soon.
Yours,
Shana Krisiloff
