Rochester City Ballet announces their spring performance will be “Summer of Love.” The final show of the ballet season, RCB brings to the stage the turbulent emotions of the century's pivotal summer and celebrates the hits of 1967.
Returning to the Auditorium Theatre for the first time since 2008, RCB’s performance will include hits from The Mamas and The Papas, Cat Stevens, The Byrds, The Animals, The Zombies and songs such as “Aquarius” from the musical “Hair.” RCB will have more artists and songs to announce once its finalized licensing for a few more songs and with a legend’s estate.
Performances run April 20th, 7:30PM, April 21st, 8:00PM, April 22nd, 8:00PM, April 23rd, 2:00PM. Tickets start at $23 and go up to $78 for Limited VIP Tickets (backstage tour and more).
A public preview will be held April 8th at Rochester City Ballet’s studio, with performances running at the Auditorium theatre April 20-23rd. Tickets are on-sale now.
