Powerful brass and soaring melodies meet an undertow of icy edge in this towering symphony, one of Sibelius' most poular. Led by Music Director Ward Stare, the triumphant, edge-of-your-seat finale is guaranteed to leave you uplifted. This all-20th century program features a haunting masterwork by Britten that spotlights the RPO's Principal Horn Peter Kurau.
