Have you ever wanted to learn more about salamanders? Is your little one fascinated by the creatures found in the great outdoors? Are you looking for something family friendly to do on Sunday, November 5th? Join us for some Salamander Shenanigans at the Genesee Country Village and Museum Nature Center from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. to learn more about the sneaky species of salamanders that live all around us. Hike out to the vernal pond with a guide to look for salamanders and read a story along the way, at 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.. In the nature center, create salamander themed crafts, migrate around the yard like a mole salamander, and draw/write about what you learned to help save salamander species in your area. There will be so much salamander fun your family will want to spend the whole day at the Nature Center! This event is FREE so bring the whole family.
