Since 1905 the Market has made substantial contributions to the region's economy, ecology, and equity. Supermarkets and corner stores are important conveniences of modern life, but the Public Market offers special connection to growers, merchants, and fellow customers; the Market is also truly a rich, unique cultural experience. In addition to regular Market days 52 weeks a year, the Market also hosts popular special events such as Flower City Days (horticultural extravaganza), Food Truck Rodeos, Artist Row, Bands on the Bricks, Community Garage Sales, Holidays at the Market, and much more.
