A video presentation reveals the large layout created and operated by members of the Rochester Model Railroad Club. Four "clinics" are included providing the "how to" training for modelers starting out in this fascinating hobby.

The New York Museum of Transportation features a collection of full-size trolleys, a steam locomotive, fire truck, horse-drawn vehicles, and numerous historic artifacts and photos. Open Sundays, year round. Mid-May through October, and again during the Christmas holiday season, NYMT cooperates with the Rochester & Genesee Valley Railroad Museum to offer trolley and train rides. The NYMT trolley is the only such ride in New York State, and the combination of two museums connected by a ride is unique in the USA!
