The Rochester Dolphins are supported by the Southeast YMCA (YMCA of Greater Rochester) and have been the only competitive Synchronized Swim team in Rochester for 23 years. The team has about 15 swimmers, ages 7-17, and competes all over NY and the East coast. The Team was ranked 9th at Age Group Nationals in 2003, and has had many successes in local meets.
We offer introduction and intermediate classes at the Southeast YMCA on Monday nights, and hope to be teaching at other local Y’s soon. The competitive Team practice Tuesday and Thursday Nights 6pm-8pm at The Harley School on Clover St. and Saturdays at the Southeast Y 11:30-1:30. Swimmers have an option of swimming 1, 2, or 3 days a week and will need to be Y members.
