Poetry & Painting

In this new class Writers & Books teaching artists are collaborating with our friends at the Creative Workshop at the Memorial Art Gallery. We'll pain, make poems, explore the work of artists like e.e. cummings and Zelda Fitzgerald who did both, and learn to trust the artists we are. Painting and poetry share similarities of approach and concept from rhythm to depth to harmony. Fun exercises will drum up lots of new ideas for both your poems and your paintings. Great for kids who love reading and writing!
