Pictures, Poses, and People: An Intergenerational Project

This intergenerational project is fast and furious. Imagine not only taking pictures, but recording stories as we listen to the elders in the community share their stories about life, love, and loss.

This intergenerational project is fast and furious. Imagine not only taking pictures, but recording stories as we listen to the elders in the community share their stories about life, love, and loss. In this unique workshop we will visit with seniors in our community and capture their experiences using words and photographic memories as they narrate the stories of their lives. This project fosters intergenerational communication and encourages interactions with America’s forgotten citizens. We have so much to learn from those who came before us. If you have your own digital camera, bring it along. A final presentation and exhibit will take place on the last day.
