Artist-in-Residency exhibition of Ryana Lawson & Marval A Rex

On view at the Firehouse Gallery are the culminating works of Artists in Residence Ryana Lawson and Marval A Rex. These two bodies of work coexist existentially to interrogate the presupposed Normal. The objects shown here flirt with the peripheries of Reality, and challenge the weak threads that claim a static or solid existence. The artists ask: “How does a thing become a thing--and, how does a thing become no thing?”
