Palmyra Pirate Weekend
Historic Palmyra throws a pirate bash every year that’s fun and family friendly in the Village of Palmyra, NY. Palmyra, also known as the “Queen of the Canal Towns", kicks off the weekend watching "The Goonies" under the stars in the village park Friday evening. On Saturday, join the Pirate Kazoo Band Parade, take
part in the Pillage ‘N the Village Bed Race Regatta on Main Street, Pirate Window Painting Contest, Pirate
Kids Games, enter the 5K Race (benefits Pal-Mac Select Choir), Kayak Races, Water Sports, Dunking Booth (benefits the Varsity Swim Team), Puppy Parade, listen to roaming Minstrels or one of the many live bands playing in the Marina and Town Park, enjoy great food, take a Historic Palmyra Museum tour, listen to Pirate Tales with Bloody Mary and so much more! In the evening, join fellow pirates at the American Legion, Palmyra Bowl and Lock 29 Tavern for evening fun.

10:30 am to 2:30 pm Treasure Trail Canal Walk
11 am Pirate Grand Parade & Bed Race featuring The Renegades Fife & rums, Pirate Kazoo Band, Racing Beds, Grand Admiral, and More. Pillage 'N the Village Bed Race Regatta follows parade immediately! Main St.
2 pm to 4 pm Rum tasting & festival food, American Legion Post 120
1 pm to 5 pm Live Music at the Marina with Luca Foresta & The ElectroKings
