Rated PG. A 12-year-old boy searches for the one thing that will enable him to win the affection of the girl of his dreams. To find it he must discover the story of the Lorax, the grumpy yet charming creature who fights to protect his world.

In honor of Earth Day, which is celebrated on April 22, come to the Children’s Center of the Central Library of Rochester and Monroe County on Saturday, April 25 to watch Dr. Seuss’s fabulous story, The Lorax. The movie is rated PG and is about a 12-year-old boy searches for the one thing that will enable him to win the affection of the girl of his dreams. To find it he must discover the story of the Lorax, the grumpy yet charming creature who fights to protect his world. This free program will start promptly at 11:00 am and will appeal to a wide range of audiences, so be sure to bring a friend or two. The first 25 children will receive a seed planter. For more information, call the Children’s Center at 428-8150.  The Central Library is accessible to people with disabilities.
