Escape to the Children’s Center of the Central Library of Rochester and Monroe County by 11am on Saturday June 18 so you can see the free showing of the movie A Series of Unfortunate Events. Based on the wonderful series of books by Lemony Snicket, it is rated PG. When a massive fire kills their parents, three children are delivered to the custody of cousin and stage actor Count Olaf, who is secretly plotting to steal their parents' vast fortune. This movie will appeal to families with children of all ages, and there’s plenty of space, so be sure to bring along a few neighbors, too. The Central Library is accessible to people with disabilities. To request specific accommodations, call 585-428-8304 ten days prior to the program.
