Don’t monkey around! Swing on over to the Children’s Center of the Central Library of Rochester and Monroe County by 1:00 pm on Wednesday, July 13 to see the newly released DVD The Monkey Kingdom. Rated G, this nature documentary follows a newborn monkey and its mother as they struggle to survive within the competitive social hierarchy of the Temple Troop, a dynamic group of monkeys who live in ancient ruins found deep in the storied jungles of South Asia. This free showing will appeal to people of all ages, and there’s plenty of space, so be sure to bring along a friend or two. For more information, please call the Children’s Center at 428-8150.
