You don't have to be a Harley student to take Harley's After School programs! Classes are taught by our own teachers and selected coaches and instructors from Rochester's clubs and organizations. Fall 2014 classes planned are: Chess Club, Dance, Karate, Conversational English, STEM Club, Science Explorers, Basketball, Baseball, Golf Squad, Soccer, Swimming, Squash, Gamelan Ensemble, Ceramics, Flameworking, Painting, Drawing, and Printmaking, and Music Lessons. Hochstein School of Music & Dance

People often tell us when they come to Hochstein School of Music & Dance they feel welcomed and at home— even if it’s their first visit! Spotlight Studios

Spotlight Studios in Fairport is dedicated to the education and advancement of Performing Arts for teens and kids around the area. Our focus is on musical theatre performance (singing, acting, dancing); we offer both group skill building classes and individualized lessons. A Magical Journey Thru Stages

Excelsior Brigade Fife & Drum Corps

Excelsior Brigade Fife & Drum Corps is a FREE music education and performance program that is offered to kids age 10 and up and adults who are interested in music from 19th-century America: Primarily Civil War-era music, but also music from the War of 1812 and the American Revolution. Everything about this group is free: Weekly lessons/rehearsals are on Wednesday evenings from 6pm-7:30 in East Rochester or Perinton (a mentoring process from more experienced musicians in the corps). Instruments and uniforms are provided free of charge. There is no fundraising, and no musical experience is required to start! Even better, once a performer reaches a certain level, he or she is paid to participate in performances and parades. Join us after school at The Barn Owl in Penfield on Thursdays for a unique, naturally dynamic club. Each week, we will explore the natural areas around The Barn Owl for clues on seasonal changes. Participants will record observations in a journal, which will be theirs to keep at the end of the session. Kids Miracle Making Club

Kids Miracle Making Club is a service learning organization for kids ages 5-12.  Club members explore different areas of interest through workshops in music, art, sports, science, and alike and use their new learning and special talents to come up with community service projects, projects focused on helping kids with physical and developmental disabilities.  Projects focus on raising funds, driving community awareness of needs, and best of all making friends with the kids they help.  Events are many and always a lot of fun!  For more information on the club check out our Facebook page, email us at or call us at 585.749.7515.
