LOGOS is an after school mid-week enrichment program that has impacted generations of lives for 25 years! Individuals and families gather for 23 weeks beginning in September and concluding towards the end of March before spring sports ramp up. LOGOS engages young people, K-12, in the life of the church, providing opportunities to learn about God, participate in mission, have fun and create lasting relationships with others.
The four parts of LOGOS are:
Bible Study: This isn't the stuffy lessons you might assume! Witness the Bible stories leaping off the page in interactive small group learning situations. All our teachers strive to build lasting relationships with our students so that by the end of the year, the class feels like a family.
Sing and Ring: Have a blast making music with your friends! As we rehearse wonderful worship offerings, we build teamwork, music literacy, and performance chops. Students have an opportunity to lead worship on Sundays and at special worship services like Christmas Eve, Palm Sunday and Mother's Day.
Recreation Play: What do shaving cream, carpet squares, hula hoops, paper airplanes and straws have in common? They are just a few of the wacky things our play team utilize to energize our young people and build teamwork. Play is one of the best ways we practice treating one another as children of God.
Family Time: LOGOS family time is not just a time to eat dinner. "Table families" care for and about each other as they share food, fun and conversation around the table each week. Meals are lovingly made by our kitchen crew and can be customized with parent participation for allergies.
The only rule of LOGOS is: Everyone is to treat everyone else as a child of God.
