Lilac Children's Garden is having an information meeting on Wednesday, March 14, 2017 from 7 pm - 8.30 pm for parents interested in enrolling their children in our classes for the 2018-2019 school year. This Waldorf-inspired community offers classes for children ages 5-14 on Tuesday afternoons in Brighton. At Lilac Children's Garden, students get to spend one afternoon each week with nurturing educators and great kids -- they learn to play the recorder and stringed instruments, sing in a group, paint, work on beeswax and clay modeling, and do handwork like sewing, knitting, crocheting, and woodworking. They play games, listen to stories that are chosen for their developmental age and stage, and put on a play with their classmates at the end of the year. Our families also celebrate seasonal festivals with our community. To learn more from teachers and board members, please join us at Twelve Corners Church (1200 Winton Rd South, Rochester, NY 14618) in our kindergarten classroom downstairs on Wednesday, March 14. Enter at the South Entrance of the building.
