Turn your junk into toys!

Can you re-think the way you see junk? On Saturday, February 4, 2017 author/illustrator Brian Yanish will be in the Children’s Center of the Central Library of Rochester and Monroe County to show you how you can make toys and other fun stuff from what some people might consider junk. Junk Re-thunk is the title of Brian’s book as well as this program, and he will be here from 1-4 on Take your Child to the Library Day to help kids make amazing interactive art from recycled materials that you probably have at home. This program is open to families with children of all ages, and we will have plenty of junk, so all you will need to supply is your imagination.
