Intro to Puppet Making

If you are interested in shaping, building, character creating, set and costume design, or just simply craft making- join us in this puppet making class for all ages! Here you will learn how make dolls/puppets by shaping Papier- Mache, molding sculpy, carving foam, sewing, gluing and painting. We will explore different techniques and materials while building shapes, talk about colors and lighting in creating meaning and mood, as well as facial expressions in creating personality. After this class, you will be able to make your own puppets and dolls, as well as Holiday decorations, or birthday gifts.
Tuition is $82 includes material fee per session; Session I Jan 9th-Feb18th, Session II Feb 27th - April 8th, Session III April 24th - June 3rd.
