Intro to Fencing

Please wear a short-sleeved shirt, sweatpants or long biker shorts, and sneakers. Bring a water bottle. For students in grades 6-12. Registration is required.

Join coaches from the Rochester Fencing Club, owned by local Olympians Iris and Felicia Zimmermann, to try your hand at this awesome individual sport. Learn the fundamental footwork and blade work and then suit up in regulation fencing gear to challenge an opponent. All safety equipment is provided. Fencing is great fun for guys and girls. The strategy involved makes it both physically and mentally challenging. We dare you not to love it!
