Whether you want to become a musician from your own living room, using skills, gear, and space you already have, or throw the best party in town, this exciting class on Studio Recording basics will put on your way! Class topics include: Understanding digital audio workstation programs such as Garage Band, Pro Tools, and others, techniques for proper and creative use of microphones, working with acoustics of your home and gear, understanding synthesizers, equalizers, and compressors, DJ mixing and production. Most importantly, this class should leave you with the skill to trust your inner voice, your intuition, and your ear.
Tuition is $72 per session; Session I Jan 9th-Feb18th, Session II Feb 27th - April 8th, Session III April 24th - June 3rd.
