Hockey 201 is a continuation of Hockey 101 and designed to build upon the skills mastered in that entry level program. The focus of this program is to teach players team skills and tactics involved in the game of ice hockey in a team oriented environment. Players will also further their development of individual skills, such as skating, stick handling and shooting. This program is the next step towards playing organized youth hockey in a full season format.
Full equipment is required (helmet with face guard, elbow pads, shin pads, hockey pants, skates, jersey, socks, gloves and stick). Participants are also required to register as a player with USA Hockey through their online registration portal located at www.usahockey.org.
