The fall concert by the 75-member HYSO features music by Liszt, Wagner, Tchaikovsky, and Copland, with director Casey Springstead and faculty members Matt Osika, trumpet, and Terry Fonda Smith, English horn. Pre-concert chamber music begins at 6:40 pm.

The Hochstein Youth Symphony Orchestra, directed by Casey Springstead, performs its fall concert. The program includes Liszt’s Les Préludes, Wagner’s Overture to The Flying Dutchman, Tchaikovsky’s Marche Slav, and Copland’s Quiet City, which features Hochstein Faculty Matt Osika, trumpet, and Terry Fonda Smith, English horn.
Pre-concert chamber music begins at 6:40 pm. Tickets at the door: $5 general admission.
