Ganondagan’s one-of-a-kind Conservation Camp is open to students in grades 7-12 with a love for the outdoors, a passion for nature and its preservation, or those who may be considering environmental sciences as a career choice/college major. It has an emphasis on learning how to minimize invasive species and interact in a positive manner with the environment. The field skills taught and practiced are techniques not ordinarily available to most students until college. Campers will get the opportunity to learn from various field experts and professionals who will share their knowledge, insights and devotion to the conservation of natural habitats. Additional hands-on and inquiry based learning opportunities ensure that each student not only receives a uniquely personalized experience, but one that is also flexible to fit their individual interests. Camp counselors are current college students majoring in the environmental sciences.Students are requested to bring a bag lunch. Spots are limited, so we highly encourage early registration.
