Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's - if you have family coming into town for any of these upcoming holidays, KidsOutAndAbout highly suggests you add a day at the Rochester Museum and Science Center to your family plans. The newest exhibit, Frogs: A Chorus of Colors, runs through January 10, 2016. Here's a visual tour through this ribbitting exhibit to get you excited about what you'll see and learn.

Many of the frogs blend in with their environment, but the poison frogs purposely stand out. Find out how their poison was extracted for blow darts as well as for pain relief.

Play nature's version of Where's Waldo looking for these incredibly well-camoflagued frogs. You'll be shocked to discover that frogs the size of dinner plates don't immediately "jump" out at you. Combine frog croaks to make your own chorus.

Frogs will eat anything they can fit in their mouths. Watch in slow motion as they extend their tongues to suction in everything from small insects to whole mice. Sticky-fingered frogs cling to the windows of the terrariums. Learn how frogs absorb water through their thin skin.

Take a break in the kid-sized lily pad to read children's books and hang with plush froggies. Discover the cultural significance of frogs to various countries. Watch live shows hosted by the Rochester's Wildlife Defenders every Saturday and Sunday at 12:30 and 2:30pm.
