Flash Nonfiction

Much like flash fiction, flash nonfiction is a short form of writing in which every word is essential. You will have the chance to write true stories from your own life, focusing on topics and experiences that are important to you.

Ages: 8-11
Much like flash fiction, flash nonfiction is a short form of writing in which every word is essential. You will have the chance to write true stories from your own life, focusing on topics and experiences that are important to you, and learning the skills to condense the stories down to their most important elements, to be concise. Just like with fiction, we will examine rhythm, character, setting, and plot. Editing will be a key component, as will feedback from peers and the teacher.
