The windows of a vintage trolley car offer a unique view of the beautiful colors autumn in upstate New York. Come ride with us!
The colors of autumn in upstate New York are best enjoyed from the clear open windows of the 90-year-old trolley car at the New York Museum of Transportation. The 20-minute rides pass through woods and open fields, traversing the only vintage trolley line in the state. Rides depart every 30 minutes, beginning at 11:30 and are included in the price of admission to the museum.
Fall foliage trolley rides are offered Sundays only, September 22 - October 27.
While the rides are a highlight for visitors, large model railroads, numerous full-size trolley cars, a steam locomotive, antique trucks, cars and buses, horse-drawn vehicles, and smaller artifacts provide a rich, hands-on experience that appeals to children and seniors alike. There's a full gift shop too!
