July 12-24, 2015 (two-week program)
Gaelen McCormick, director
Imagine spending two weeks in the beautiful Finger Lakes region of New York, exploring music with new friends from all over the world!
Eastman@Keuka is an international music camp at Keuka College for students of all instruments or voice currently in grades 6-9 who have a passion for making music – either classical or jazz.
A typical day will include master classes and ensembles tailored to students’ individual abilities, led by faculty members and graduate students from the Eastman School of Music, Eastman Community Music School, and Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra. Students can also participate in theory, improvisation, chorus, and Dalcroze Eurythmics classes. Great concerts, hikes in the park, swimming in beautiful Keuka Lake, and campfires and s’mores are also part of the Eastman@Keuka experience.
Applicants should have completed at least two years of music study and have a desire to intensively study and make music daily.
