The Eastman-Rochester Chorus is a 150-voice symphonic chorus comprised of Eastman students and members of the Rochester community, presenting choral masterworks in collaboration with the orchestras of the Eastman School of Music and the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra.
Third- and fourth-year undergraduates and graduate students play in the Eastman Philharmonia and the Philharmonia Chamber Orchestra. In addition to performing standard orchestral repertoire, members of Philharmonia comprise the pit orchestra for the fall and spring operas, as well as playing major choral/orchestral works.
