Day Camp Programs at Camp Thunderbird

Campers are grouped by grade level and have daily activities tailored for each age group. Each day, campers participate in small and large group activities, swim, and specialty time. Fridays include a closing celebration featuring theme-based programming. Camp Thunderbird meets and exceeds all camper-to-counselor ratios as designated by the New York State Department of Health. Low camper-to-counselor ratios ensure a personalized and impactful experience for every child we serve.

- Sparrows: Age 5
- Cardinals: Ages 6-7
- Hawks: Ages 8-9
- Eagles: Ages 10-12
- Condors/Leaders-in-Training: Ages 13-15
