Choosing a college is a complicated process, but it shouldn't be overwhelming or scary. Join us as we explore the first questions every family needs to answer in order to find a "best fit". This one hour session is FREE!

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.

Applying to college can be an overwhelming and challenging time. Join us as Jodi Rosenshein Atkin, MA, LLC helps students and famiies identify the key factors for finding a "best fit" college. What are the first steps to take and when to begin? Large school or small? Close to home or farther away?  Discover how to look for the academic, financial, social and cultural features of a college.  Learn how to create an initial roadmap through this process: choosing your high school classes, choosing standardized test options, making the most of college visits, approaching the essay process and navigating the financial landscape.  This class will provide guidelines to make this a time of discovery and opportunity!
