The Center for Adolescent & Young Adult Health is a comprehensive, free-standing office specializing in the medical and mental health care of adolescents and young adults to age 30 and their families. Care is provided by specialists trained and experienced in adolescent and young adult health care in a comfortable, welcoming environment. We provide private and comfortable confidential times for teens and young adults to allow them to seek advice and address all of their health concerns freely.
We provide comprehensive primary care, mental health counseling and consultations for a wide variety of medical and mental health concerns. Time is provided to meet alone with patients to foster their transition to adulthood where they can accept more of the responsibility and advocacy of their own health care. We believe in involving parents and families to provide family solutions for concerns addressed when helpful. Patients can keep their current primary care providers if desired while obtaining consultative care and counseling here or they may elect to change their primary care to our center to receive both medical and mental health care as needed.
