The Canandaigua Art & Music Festival will take place on Friday, July 14, from 12:00 to 7:00 p.m., Saturday, July 15 and Sunday, July 16 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The festival, in its 29th year in Historic Downtown Canandaigua, will include artists and crafters, food vendors, live music and activities for kids.

The Canandaigua Art & Music Festival will host their third annual food truck rodeo and - new this year - will extend the rodeo to all three days of the festival. The rodeo will feature some of Rochester's deliciously famous food trucks: Empire Express, Meat the Press, Neno's Gourmet Mexican Street Food, Rob's Kabobs and Kona Ice of Genesee Valley.


Over 100 Artists, Crafters & Exhibitors

This year's event introduces new artists to the festival and welcomes back popular artists from the past. Vendors will display their wares along Main Street for festival guests to browse and shop as they please. Artwork falls into various categories including all natural products, drawing, fiber, glass, gourmet foods, jewelry, mixed media, photography, sculpture and woodworking.



Musical acts will play all three days of the festival on the Mobile Music stage located on the corner of Coach and Main. Performances range from Motown and Rock to Funk and Country that feature incredible talent from upstate New York. The full schedule:

Food Vendors

With the festival's wide variety of food vendors and food trucks, you'll be sure to find something to please your taste buds. B&B Kettle Korn, Nancy's Fried Dough, The Weiner Wagon, We Squeeze to Please and Black Jack's Seafood will be serving up classic festival fare including hamburgers, hot dogs, Italian sausage, fried dough, funnel cakes, fresh squeezed lemonade and kettle corn. Look for food trucks in the Food Truck Rodeo every day of the festival, offering deli-style sandwiches and melts, gourmet kabobs, fried mozzarella, sloppy joes, tropical shaved ice and gourmet Mexican street food.


Community Cause-Way

Also in its third year, the Community Cause-Way is a block of the festival that highlights community non-profit organizations and their stories. Families are encouraged to visit the Cause-Way as each community booth will provide a kids'activity such as the Habitat for Humanity mini house, bean bag toss, sand art, face painting, games and more. The Cause-Way will take place on Saturday and Sunday of the festival.


Kids' Activities

In addition to the fun activities offered by community organizations, the festival will host 2 Barn Farms and Lazy Acre Alpacas. Located in the same block as the Community Cause-Way, these kids' activities include a petting zoo, pony rides and a chance to meet Carhartt the alpaca. Gadgets the Clown will be at the festival on Friday, July 14 and Sunday, July 16 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. both days. Kids can also have fun at the Mobile Music instrument petting zoo all three days of the festival.

Parking Information

There are several free municipal parking lots located throughout the City of Canandaigua. Lots can be found on West Avenue, Ontario Street, Mill Street and Bristol Street.
