Liz Bauld, the Storybook Cook, is coming to help kids make some fun and nutritious goodies to eat. We will read a food related story or two, and then make (and eat!) some delicious treats. In the process, we will learn a little something about good nutrition. The fun starts at 10:30am on Monday, July 24 in the Kate Gleason Auditorium of the Central Library. The free program, entitled Build a Better Plate, will have a wide appeal to families with kids of all ages; as usual, all materials will be provided while they last. (Don’t worry; we have lots and lots of supplies!) For more information, call the Children’s Center at 428-8150.
