We are looking for a diverse, multiracial, multicultural cast of singers, dancers and actors who look like they are in (or could be in) high school. Although the show is about cheerleading, prior cheerleading experience is not a requirement. However, familiarity with cheerleading would be a plus for many (but not all) of the roles.
All roles are open. This non-traditional musical is loosely based on the films of the same name. "Bring It On: The Musical" features students from two high schools – one of which is suburban (Truman) and the other more urban (Jackson). The main characters are Campbell, who is transferred from Truman to Jackson at the start of her senior year, and Danielle, the leader of the dance group at Jackson. In addition to the 12-15 principal roles there is a fairly large ensemble.
Rehearsals:
July 24th – 28th, 9:00am – 4:00pm
July 31st – Aug 3rd, 9:00am – 4:00pm

Aug 4 @7pm and Aug 5 @ 7pm
