Join us at our Celebration of Black History Month. Take part in family-friendly activities that include hands-on art projects, guided tours, music and dance performances.

Join us for family-friendly activities that include storytelling, guided tours, music and dance performances, and art projects in the Creative Workshop.  Also, enjoy:

  • Instrument Petting Zoo and music performances by ROCmusic Collaborative
  • African Cuban line dance workshop with Frances Hare
  • Music performances

Renowned researcher, educator, author and presenter, Dr. Joy DeGruy will join us with a presentation titled The Power of Art. She is an ambassador for healing and a voice for those who’ve struggled in search of the past and continue to struggle through the present. Those who have experienced Dr. Joy in person can tell you that they have been “stimulated, enlightened and inspired.” Suggested donation is $5 per family.
