Dr. Bill Valenti, co-founder and staff physician at Trillium Health, will give a talk on the AIDS timeline, starting with the emergence of the epidemic in 1981, through today’s efforts to End the Epidemic by 2020.

 Dr. Bill Valenti, co-founder and staff physician at Trillium Health, will give a talk on the AIDS timeline, starting with the emergence of the epidemic in 1981, through today’s efforts to End the Epidemic by 2020. He will read excerpts from his self-published book, AIDS: A Matter of Urgency, and describe the Rochester community’s early response to the epidemic and the impact this response had. His talk will be followed by a Q&A session, as well as a book signing from 1:00 to 2:00 PM. All proceeds will be donated to Trillium Health’s Fund to End the HIV Epidemic by 2020.
