The Bach Children's Chorus, in residence at Kanack School of Musical Artistry, is Western New York's most respected children's chorus. The choir performs with the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra, Rochester Chamber Orchestra, and others. Chorus tours annually in the spring. Rehearsals once a week on Saturday mornings. Auditions typically in spring, but it is possible to join mid-year.

The BCC selects its members through auditions from spring through summer for the following academic year. The process begins by attending an audition information meeting. Please email bachkidsusa@yahoo.com to schedule an audition.

Students in the Bach Children’s Chorus receive exceptional vocal training, attend classes in music theory, and learn to appreciate many types of music. In addition, students have a wonderful time making friends and interacting with peers who have similar interests. Experiences throughout the year range from formal concerts, to sporting events, seasonal parties, and team building activities. The children meet weekly for rehearsals throughout the academic year.

The chorus tours annually, usually during spring break. They have sung at many exciting venues including the National Cathedral in Washington, DC, St. Patrick’s Cathedral in New York City and in Williamsburg, Virginia. This spring, the chorus sang the National Anthem in Fenway park for the Boston Redsox. Last spring they sang in Carnegie Hall in NYC with the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra.
