Meet Sally Valentine, author of many exciting books for middle-grade readers. Kids will learn about the misadventures of five special students in Mrs. Levine’s 4th grade class at School #27, who call themselves the STARfish.  The books feature real Rochester landmarks, so kids will identify with both the characters and their adventures. Sally Valentine is a native Rochesterian who taught math in the Rochester City School District for twenty-five years. She is now off on a tangent of writing. Always an avid reader, her goal is to share with children her love for Rochester and its history by writing stories about places that have been in Rochester for over 100 years and are dearly loved by the whole community. When not writing, she may be found reading, traveling, solving puzzles of any kind, or playing with her five grandchildren. Sally’s books include: Lost at Seabreeze, Stormed, The Ghost of the Charlotte Lighthouse, Theft at George Eastman House, What Stinks? An Adventure in Highland Park. These books sell for $10.75 each. There Are No Buffalo in Buffalo, poetry book is available for $14.95. Cash, checks and Visa/MasterCard accepted  Santa Claus will make an appearance from 2:30-3:00 p.m.
