ArtsROC is an innovative school offering classes in Lego Education, music, and language, located in Pittsford, NY.

ArtsRoc is dedicated to helping you and your children find the joy the arts can bring to your lives. Our instructors are passionate about teaching and have experience working with children and adults of all skill levels. ArtsRoc offers students the ability to discover their passion and then develop it!

Lego Education After-School Program

Our Lego Room is an open space where children, supported by qualified teachers, learn through hands-on and exploratory play. In our unique after-school program, we combine Lego building challenges and activities with homework time, music lessons, Spanish classes, KidzROC (our rock band for kids), and our own First Lego League team. Join us for just one day, or come for all five!

Music Lessons

ArtsROC offers one-on-one instruction in voice, guitar, electric bass, drums, violin, and piano, taught by qualified Eastman graduates. Classes are available to students of all skill levels and are tailored to meet your unique interests, ability, and experience. Also, any ArtsROC music student can participate FOR FREE in KidzROC, our rock band by kids, for kids, that meets Tuesday afternoons from 4-5pm!

Lego Education Masterclasses & Summer LEGO Education Camps

ArtsROC's Lego Education masterclasses give children the chance to explore the arts and sciences through a variety of Lego-based activities. Activities include building a major Lego set, creative design projects, speed building competitions, games like Creationary and Lego Jeopardy, and Lego Stop-Motion Animation. In addition to these activities, each day students build (and take home!) a different custom mini-set designed by ArtsROC!

NEW Computer Coding Classes

Using materials designed by Codeacademy, ArtsROC now offers students ages 7-12 the unique opportunity to learn basic computer programming skills. They can then use these skills to build their own websites, games, and apps! Our first course is JavaScript, and will be offered in two 7-week sessions.

Saturdays, 10am-noon, $200/student.

JavaScript Part 1 – Jan. 5-Feb. 16

JavaScript Part 2 – March 2-April 27 (no classes March 16, April 6)

Stay tuned for future courses in other programming languages!
