Art Exploration Series

For children ages 6+ and art novices. Each class explores a new art form at an introductory level. Led by instructor Melissa Gartz. All supplies included. Parents welcome to participate at regular price or observe for FREE.

Our new Art Exploration Series led by artist Melissa Gartz is designed to give young people (age 6+) an introduction to several art forms. Parents are welcome to observe for free or register to participate as well. Workshops are $15/each. All supplies included. Register at Dansville ArtWorks or online. Workshops are on Saturdays and run 10:30am-noon; full schedule:
- March 11: Making Mobiles (Calder)
- March 25: Puppet Making (storytelling)
- April 8: Pointillism (Australian Aboriginal painting)
- April 22: Yarn (weaving)
- May 6: Papier-Mache Masks part I
- May 20: Papier-Machine Masks part II
- June 3: Sculpey (clay/sculpture)
