Aquinas Youth Lacrosse Camp

Individual & team skill instruction for individual positions. Athletes are grouped according to skill level & age to ensure maximum safety & enjoyment of the game. Skill sets will be taught & then applied to game situations.

*NO PRIOR EXPERIENCE IS NEEDED*
Areas of Instruction
Attack/Midfield: Passing/Catching, Shooting, Dodging, Stick Protection, Footwork, Riding, and Communication.
Defense: Footwork, Communication, Passing/Catching, Defensive Stance, Clearing.
Goalie: Stance, Stick Placement, Passing/Catching, Footwork, Clearing, Communication.
Face Offs: Variety of Proper Techniques, Wing Play.
Participants should wear shorts, t-shirt, sneakers, and bring a “labeled” water bottle. Players should bring their own stick, helmet, gloves, shoulder pads and arm pads.
*Please contact our camp staff if there is a need to borrow equipment for camp. Drills will be “passive” contact. Mouth guards and cleats are strongly recommended, but are not required.
